How the olive oil stabilizers were created and tested
How the oil stabilizes and cleans the skin, so it’s a more effective anti-inflammatory, according to scientists.
The ingredients of the oil-soaking tablets are derived from the oils of olive trees and their derivatives.
The scientists say they found that the stabilizers’ protective effect is due to the antioxidant properties of the oils, which are naturally found in the oils.
They say the oil products’ effectiveness is due in part to the fact that they contain vitamins, minerals and trace elements that have an effect on the immune system.
“The oil-soluble components are the main ingredients in the stabilizing formulations,” said senior author Dr. Daniela Marci, a clinical scientist at the University of Geneva in Switzerland.
“We tested these products in patients with irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn’s disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and psoriasis.
The stabilizing agents have a significant effect on inflammation, including on inflammatory processes in the intestinal mucosa, colon, bladder, prostate, skin, skin lesions and bone.”
Dr. Marci added that stabilizers are a popular treatment for skin problems, including acne, psorosis, and wrinkles.
She said it’s not the only treatment that is effective for the skin.
“There are many types of skin problems.
Some are easily treated with a topical treatment like benzoyl peroxide, while others require a specific treatment,” she said.
“Skin conditions like psorias and psidos have been known for a long time to involve inflammation and inflammatory processes.
This is a major factor in their development.
This study provides us with a new way to study this,” Dr. Marcel said.
The team included researchers from the University Hospital of Zurich, the University Of Geneva, and the National Center for Scientific Research in Lausanne.
The research was published online Nov. 15 in the journal Science Translational Medicine.
